• Si dice che gli Yalosiani respirano un'atmosfera composta dal 60% di azoto, 10% di benzene ed il resto di fluoruro di idrogeno. A temperatura e pressione normali, il benzene è liquido, mentre il fluoruro di idrogeno è sì gassoso ma è uno degli acidi più corrosivi che esistano sulla Terra: qualsiasi materiale organico resisterebbe ben poco in una tale atmosfera, a meno di essere completamente rivestito di qualche polimero inorganico.
