420 - In the Hands of the Prophets

Data Stellare 46951.7: Su Deep Space Nine è giunta in visita Vedek Winn, uno dei leader spirituali di Bajor, probabile candidata a diventare la prossima Kai. La prima tappa della visita di Winn è la scuola in cui insegna la moglie di O'Brien, Keiko. La lezione è incentrata sul wormhole scoperto vicino Bajor, che è spiegato come fenomeno artificiale, diverso dai consueti wormhole. Vedek Winn puntualizza che quel wormhole non è un fenomeno fisico, ma il Tempio Celeste dei Profeti. Keiko obbietta che quella scuola non vuole sostituire i leader spirituali e quindi il suo compito è attenersi ai fatti, ma Winn si sente ormai oltraggiata e minaccia di chiudere la scuola se Keiko non sarà allontanata per aver professato delle blasfemìe.
