76 - Requiem for Methuselah

Data Stellare 5843.7: A causa di un'epidemia di febbre rigeliana a bordo dell'Enterprise, Kirk, Spock e McCoy scendono sul pianeta Holberg 917G per cercare della ryetalina, l'unico antidoto per quella malattia. Qui trovano Flint, un umano che sembra aver vissuto sulla Terra secoli addietro, e la sua protetta Rayna Kapec.

• Il nome di Rayna Kapec deriva dallo scrittore cecoslovacco Karel Capek che ha inventato il termine robot (dal termine cecoslovacco «robota» che significa «lavoro») usandolo per la prima volta nel suo romanzo R.U.R.
