250 - Critical Care

Data Stellare Sconosciuta: Il programma del Dottore viene rubato alla Voyager per farlo lavorare in una grossa nave ospedale. Il Dottore si deve quindi confrontare con i metodi di cura della nave ospedale che non si confanno all'etica professionale con cui è stato programmato.

• Tebbis è il paziente R-12.
• Poco dopo la sigla, l'Allocator dice che uno dei pazienti va trasferito al livello verde perché ha un coefficiente di cura 4 («Patient's TC is four. Transfer to level green.»). Il dottor Voje dice «Green isn't equipped for this!», e Chellick ribatte «His TC's only four. Take him to Green». È strano, perché dallo schema che si vede nell'ascensore il livello verde è subito sotto al blu, quindi indicherebbe una maggiore disponibilità di risorse per la cura del paziente, non una minore del rosso.

• Appena dopo la sigla, l'Allocator dice che ci sono pazienti in arrivo nella sala emergenze 7 e uno dei pazienti ha un CT 4.
