Data Stellare 50537.2: Durante l'esplorazione di una colonia decimata da un attacco, la squadra di sbarco si trova in difficoltà a causa del comportamento causato dal periodo del
pon farr attraversato da
Vorik. Le cose si complicano quando il comportamento irrazionale del
Vulcaniano riaccende gli
istinti del rito di accoppiamento
klingon di B'Elanna.
- Vediamo per la prima volta un Vulcaniano alle prese con il pon farr; in Body and Soul vedremo Tuvok nella medesima situazione.
- Il Dottore sperimenta su Vorik una nuova terapia olografica per sedare i sintomi del pon farr. Benché ci sia stato un apparente successo iniziale, non sembra che abbia funzionato granché a giudicare dai comportamenti successivi di Vorik.
- Apprendiamo che per i Klingon «fracture a clavicle on the wedding night is actually considered a blessing on the marriage».
- Vorik, in preda al pon farr, chiede a B'Elanna Torres di sposarlo [T:01:22].
- Apprendiamo che la procedura standard per le missioni in luoghi sconosciuti prevede il trasporto di armi [T:21:31].
- Fanno la loro prima (breve) apparizione i Borg in Voyager [T:43:05].
- Le divise per le esplorazioni sono grigie, attillate e con una banda colorata all'altezza del petto che rappresenta la sezione di appartenenza. Sul lato destro del colletto si indossano i gradi. Stranamente, Neelix indossa una di queste divise con la banda gialla [T:09:57].

- Viene citata la data stellare 50541.6 (41 + 6 = 47) [T:42:45].
