2152: Dopo che Sato è stata teletrasportata per la prima volta, inizia a credere di non essere stata
riassemblata correttamente e ritiene che la sua vita sia in pericolo.
- In seguito all'incidente di cui è rimasta vittima Sato, rimasta intrappolata nel buffer per qualche secondo, Reed trasmette alla Flotta Stellare i nuovi protocolli per il teletrasporto.
- Sato e Tucker vengono teletrasportati per la prima volta.
- La storia di questo episodio ha dei punti in comune con Distant Voices: in entrambi gli episodi la maggior parte della narrazione si svolge nella mente del soggetto ed in entrambi i casi la risoluzione della storia mentale porta alla risoluzione della storia reale.
- Tucker dice che gli uomini sono composti da qualche trilione di molecole. Questo valore è palesemente errato, in quanto il peso medio di un uomo, che si può stimare a 75 kg, è 4,5*10^28 unità di masse atomiche; una tale affermazione significherebbe che il peso molecolare medio delle molecole di uomo è di circa 10^16, il che, per quanti atomi possano avere certi polisaccaridi, è un valore esageratamente elevato.
- In occasione della prima trasmissione in Italia, questo episodio è stato trasmesso senza i titoli di coda ed è stato unito a Precious Cargo. La sigla che precede il teaser di questo episodio è stata interrotta dopo pochi secondi con lo spot «Questo programma è presentato da...». Inoltre, dopo il teaser di entrambi gli episodi è stata replicata la sigla iniziale usando il video con la scritta «Star Trek» e l'audio delle prime due stagioni.
Trip: Uuh, ladies first.
Sato: Have you ever done this?
Trip: No, but the Captain has, and Malcolm did it twice, they say there's nothing to it.
Sato: Your molecules get pulled apart!
Trip: Then they get put back together again.
Sato: Do you know how many molecules you're made up of?
Trip: ... Lots!
Sato: All right, how many?
Trip: Uh, uh, a few trillion!
Sato: That's a pretty big jigsaw puzzle! What if some of the pieces get put in the wrong place? You know, I bet a lot of them look real similar!
Trip: Starfleet said it's safe! That's good enough for me.
Sato: OK, OK, but... you go first, and if you get to Enterprise in one piece I'll be right behind you!
Reed: Welcome to the club!
Trip: How do those molecules feel? All in the right place?
Sato: I'll let you know.
Sato: It was very unsettling. Didn't you find it unsettling?
Trip: Mh, for a minute of two, but... once I counted my fingers and toes...
Trip: Next thing you'll tell us you never heard of the Easter Bunny.

Trip: Considering that I've been back down to the surface, kidnapped, and released... I've probably had better days.
