vulcaniani che sembra abbia disertato. T'Pol chiede ad Archer che sia Mayweather a pilotare la navetta e poi chiede allo stesso Archer di seguirla nella missione perché ha bisogno di una persona di cui si fida.
- Trip assume il comando dell'Enterprise per alcuni giorni, mentre Archer è in missione.
- Al termine delle riprese, Scott Bakula ha invitato tutti i presenti ad osservare alcuni momenti di silenzio in onore delle vittime degli attentati dell'anno precedente.
- Diversi minuti di questo episodio sono ambientati su una piattaforma di lancio su un pianeta alieno e sotto una nevicata, mentre i protagonisti sono impegnati in uno scontro a fuoco. Questa situazione ricorda molto una parte di Broken Bow.
- Il titolo dell'episodio fa riferimento al fuggiasco di cui T'Pol non ricorda l'esistenza ma che era incaricata di recuperare, ma è anche il numero dell'episodio nella stagione.
- Nell'episodio viene ripetuto più volte che 30 anni prima il gruppo dei 109 effettuò l'infiltramento; T'Pol li ha recuperati 17 anni prima (30 + 17 = 47).
- In occasione della prima trasmissione in Italia, questo episodio è stato trasmesso senza la sigla iniziale ed è stato unito a Marauders, privato dei titoli di coda.

Trip: You got it. Ehm... Now that your secret mission is over you think you'll give your chief engineer little update of what you're up to?
Archer: Did I said warp 3? I meant warp 4, Commander.
Trip: Not even a hand?... Warp 4! Aye Captain! [T: 39:59]
