- Secondo Lolita Fatjo, il Grande Nagus non è apparso in questo episodio in quanto l'attore che lo interpreta, Wallace Shawn, aveva già altri impegni cinematografici.
- La scena in cui Rom e Quark sbucano nell'ufficio di Sisko, malgrado la valenza comica, è una notevole incongruenza. Non ha molto senso che due individui qualsiasi possano girovagare senza problemi lungo tutti i tubi di Jefferies della stazione senza essere notati. Tra l'altro, nell'episodio In the Hands of the Prophets O'Brien nega implicitamente questa possibilità.
- Mentre Rom e Quark cercano di arruolare Nog, lui dice «I'm a Starfleet officer» ma i sottotitoli riportano «Io sono un ufficiale Federale». Questo è un errore abbastanza ricorrente.
Quark: Ooooh, there you are! I've been looking all over the station for you!
