037 - Precious Cargo

12 Settembre 2152: Trip Tucker sale su una nave cargo aliena per aiutare l'equipaggio a riparare una camera di stasi che contiene una donna molto attraente. Quando la donna si risveglia accidentalmente, rivela di non essere un passeggero, ma una prigioniera.

• Nel finale si vede Kaitaama che, dismessi gli abiti malconci che portava quando è stata catturata, indossa un'uniforme della Flotta Stellare. Possibile che non ci siano a bordo degli abiti civili?

Technobabble

• Per sfuggire, il cargo rilascia contro l'Enterprise una nuvola di idrossidi di dilitio, che intasa i motori della nave e non consente di riformare il campo warp.

Versione italiana

• In occasione della prima trasmissione in Italia, questo episodio è stato trasmesso senza la sigla iniziale ed è stato unito a Vanishing Point, privato dei titoli di coda. Tra i due episodi, oltre la pausa pubblicitaria è stato trasmesso un breve stacco che mostra l'Enterprise mentre entra in curvatura e il logo «Star Trek Enterprise» accompagnati da un jingle tratto dalla sigla di apertura. Inoltre, dopo il teaser di entrambi gli episodi è stata replicata la sigla iniziale usando il video con la scritta «Star Trek» e l'audio delle prime due stagioni.
